Voice agent
An AI agent, as described by n8n, receives requests, makes decisions, and performs tasks using a language model. A voice agent applies the same pattern to a spoken channel: incoming speech goes through STT, the agent acts, and the response is delivered through TTS. There is no official Hebrew page for the compound term.

In business automation
A voice agent combines speech recognition, decision-making or response generation, and voice output. It also needs to handle silence, interruptions, and conversational pacing, beyond the logic needed for a text chat.
Examples
These examples illustrate a possible workflow. Adapt the connections and rules to your own systems.
Business process example
A caller asks to book an appointment and corrects the date mid-sentence. The agent verifies the updated request, checks availability, and reads the details back for confirmation before creating the calendar event.

What to check
- Plan for a handoff to a representative and an action if the call disconnects. Do not leave a booking in an unknown state because of an audio interruption.
