Overview
ElevenLabs can be used to generate a voiceover file from a script or as part of a real-time conversation. These are different needs: with voiceover, there is time to listen and make corrections, while a voice agent needs to understand a response and continue without making the user wait. For Hebrew, test ambiguous words, brand names, and numbers as part of complete sentences. Voice selection should also take the target audience, usage rights, and product plan into account.
Features
- Text-to-speech generation
- Transcription and audio content tools
- Configuration and deployment of conversation agents
Business uses
- Producing a product tutorial voiceover from an approved script
- Providing a speech layer for a service agent that follows a defined conversation flow
Getting started
- Prepare a short script with product names, numbers, and Hebrew words, then compare several voices.
- Listen to the voiceover alongside the script and check pronunciation, pauses, and how numbers are read before producing a longer clip.
- If the goal is a conversation agent, run a separate test with interruptions and corrections, and check the terms and charges for the agent plan.
What to check
- Check pronunciation quality for the specific language and voice, not just in an English sample.
- Check usage rights for the voice and output, and any separate restrictions for generation and conversation agents.
