Overview
When employees need to enter information, review a request, and pass it on, a dedicated interface can be clearer than a shared spreadsheet. Start with a process that has a small number of statuses, and mark which steps a person approves and which happen automatically. This makes it easy to see where work is waiting and who is responsible. Show the requester a receipt confirmation and request number so they can check the status without opening a new request.
