RPA
Robotic process automation (RPA) uses software robots to perform repetitive actions, often through user interfaces. It can work alongside AI capabilities, but does not require a language model or AI agent.

In business automation
Use RPA when work must be done through a system's screen and no suitable API connection is available. The robot clicks, types, and reads fields according to a defined process; it does not necessarily understand the meaning of a document.
Examples
These examples illustrate a possible workflow. Adapt the connections and rules to your own systems.
Business process example
An office receives an order spreadsheet from a legacy system. A robot opens each order, copies the customer number, and updates the status in a second system. A record that cannot be found goes into a review queue instead of being matched to a similar customer by guesswork.

- Build robots that work with user interfaces; check permissions and the stability of the target screens.
What to check
- A small screen change can break the process. Also check pop-up windows, expired logins, and missing fields.
