What it is
Calendly is a scheduling tool: invitees pick a time from availability rules you set, and the event lands on connected calendars. Workflows can send reminders and follow-ups around events.
Automating around bookings
The Calendly API offers webhook subscriptions for events such as an invitee being created or canceled, which an automation platform can use to update a CRM or create a task.
Webhook and API access depends on the plan; confirm it on the developer and pricing pages for your account.
Limits to plan for
Handle cancellations and reschedules explicitly, not just new bookings, or the CRM will drift from reality.
Plans, usage limits and prices for Calendly change often. We do not quote them here; check the official pricing page before you commit, and model your expected monthly volume against it.
