What it is
HubSpot is a CRM platform with contacts, companies and deals, plus marketing, sales and service products on top. It offers a free CRM tier and paid hubs.
Automation inside HubSpot
Workflows let you enroll records and run actions such as setting properties, creating tasks or rotating owners. Which workflow types are available depends on your subscription, so confirm on the knowledge base and your account.
Duplicates
HubSpot deduplicates contacts by email address when records are created through supported paths, and offers duplicate management tools. External automations should still search for an existing contact by email before creating one.
Limits to plan for
API calls are rate limited; batch endpoints help with bulk syncs.
Plans, usage limits and prices for HubSpot change often. We do not quote them here; check the official pricing page before you commit, and model your expected monthly volume against it.
