How to build Make automations and AI agents in ChatGPT
On September 16, 2026, Make publishes its plugin for ChatGPT. You can describe a recurring outcome in free text (for example a weekly report or an agent that tracks leads and drafts replies), and the plugin builds a Make scenario, connects the apps, and sets a schedule or trigger. You can also search, run and review scenarios from within the conversation (tables, status, history). Execution stays in Make's cloud even when ChatGPT is closed, including permissions and governance in the Make organization. Available on all plans including Free, in the browser, in ChatGPT Work and in Codex, through OpenAI's plugin directory.
