Legora runs legal work on AI agents built on OpenAI models, cutting its own NDA review from about 20% of legal team time to under 1%
In a customer story on the OpenAI blog, Legora, a Stockholm company founded in 2023, describes what CEO Max Junestrand calls the agentic operating system for legal work. OpenAI models power core workflows across its legal AI platform, from agentic legal work to large scale document review. Legora's own legal team analyzed the NDAs it had signed and built a playbook, so Legora takes a first pass at each incoming NDA and flags terms outside acceptable parameters. That review used to take about 20% of the team's capacity and now takes under 1%. In M&A due diligence, agents begin reviewing contracts and surfacing information across the deal set, and lawyers review and interpret the output. The Tabular Review workflow analyzes thousands of contracts across multiple questions in minutes. One Fortune 100 customer cut contract turnaround time by 90%, saved more than $20 million on external litigation and diligence, and returned 9.5 hours per lawyer each week. On the engineering side, coding agents search millions of lines of logs and test many explanations at once, sometimes going from bug report to working fix in around five minutes. Through the Legora plugin for ChatGPT, legal teams can use Legora's capabilities inside ChatGPT conversations. The post does not give pricing.
