Cognition helps Devin test its own work with GPT-6 Astra

On September 11, 2026, OpenAI reports that Cognition, the company behind the autonomous software agent Devin, uses GPT-6 Astra to verify that code actually works and to present results. The goal: less manual code review and more releases. Astra is also deployed in the company's CLI and desktop products.
