How an Anthropic Japan BDR runs his day with a fleet of Claude agents

Anthropic publishes a guide from a business development representative (BDR) on its Japan team who moved most of his manual work to a crew of Claude agents. Each agent has one job: routing inbound leads to reps with a report to a Slack channel, qualifying his own leads, updating Salesforce and drafting the first email, drafting replies in Japanese or English after an hourly inbox scan, pushing opportunity updates into Salesforce, and summarizing meetings at the end of the day with follow-up drafts. A coordinator agent updates the instructions and the shared knowledge base based on plain-language requests in a Slack channel. He prototyped the fleet in Claude with a skill and a scheduled task per agent, then moved it to Claude Managed Agents (beta): the agents run on a schedule even when his laptop is closed, share a memory that learns from his edits, and keep credentials in managed vaults with scoped permissions. Follow-up items go to Claude Tag in Slack. By his count from the weekly task log, the fleet saves him around 60 hours of work. Agents that follow a rulebook run on Sonnet, and agents that need judgment run on Opus.
