What it is
Airtable combines a spreadsheet-style interface with relational database features: linked records, field types and views. Bases can run automations triggered by record changes or schedules.
Where it fits
A good middle step between a shared spreadsheet and a full database, for request tracking, content pipelines or inventories that need linked tables and controlled views.
Limits to plan for
Record counts, automation runs and API usage are bounded per plan. Check current limits before choosing it for high-volume data.
Plans, usage limits and prices for Airtable change often. We do not quote them here; check the official pricing page before you commit, and model your expected monthly volume against it.
