Guide
Keeping automations healthy after launch
Ownership, monitoring, credential hygiene and change control for automations that the business depends on.
Last checked against official sources: . Vendor features and prices change; confirm on the linked pages.
Ownership
Every automation needs a named owner and a short description of what it does and what breaks if it stops.
Monitoring
- Send failures to a person, not only to a log
- Review run history weekly at first
- Watch usage against plan limits and API quotas
Change control
Vendors change APIs and plans. Test changes on a copy, keep an export of the working version, and recheck official documentation when something starts failing.
