OpenAI models and Codex are coming to Google Cloud for agentic workflows
OpenAI and Google Cloud announced a partnership that brings OpenAI's frontier models and Codex agentic workflows into Google Cloud's Model Garden. Google Cloud customers will be able to buy the models through Google Cloud Marketplace, and enterprises with Google Cloud spend commitments can draw those purchases down from their commitments. According to OpenAI, the integration pairs the models with Google Cloud's access controls, centralized data governance and infrastructure, which matters most for organizations in regulated industries. OpenAI models will also soon be available in Google Antigravity and the Gemini Agent. General availability is planned in the coming weeks, and customers can already request access. OpenAI notes that Microsoft remains its primary cloud partner.
