Let Claude use your computer in Cowork
A help page updated on September 2, 2026 states that Claude can click, type and open apps on screen when there is no suitable connector. The order of priority in Cowork: first connectors such as Gmail, Drive, Microsoft 365 and Slack, then a built-in browser or Claude in Chrome, and only then interaction with the screen. Availability is in beta for Pro and Max in Claude Desktop on macOS and Windows, in both Cowork and Claude Code. There is a risk warning and a link to a safe-use guide.
