A recruiting agency uses Claude and Zapier MCP to source passive candidates

Zapier profiles Blue Castle Agency, a recruitment firm for real estate and property management, which handed its repetitive sourcing work to Claude. Several times a day Claude picks active jobs from the applicant tracking system, reads the company and role success profiles plus notes on the segment, and uses the agency's sourcing tools to build a candidate list. A second Claude run checks the list later in the day, the same quality-control step a person used to do. According to CEO Curtis Key, candidates found by human sourcers are approved 78 to 83 percent of the time and Claude's about 94 percent, and the sourcing and quality-control automations save the team more than 240 hours a week. Zapier MCP is what connects Claude to the applicant tracking system, the sourcing platform and Google Sheets without a custom integration for each tool. A separate submission process on the agency's own server reads recruiter notes and the Zoom transcript, scores the candidate and writes the submission, saving each recruiter another 4+ hours a week. The agency is now moving fixed steps into Next-Gen Zaps built with Claude over MCP, such as a 2 a.m. weekday prep sheet for the day's screening calls posted to Slack.
