Amp puts AI agents to work beyond code with OpenAI models
OpenAI describes Amp, an AI development agent that extends its work beyond writing code: product planning, writing and page design. Most tokens in Amp run on OpenAI models. New: Sign in with ChatGPT gives users access to tokens and models including GPT-6 Astra without counting every token, and Puck is a built-in conversational assistant that operates and coordinates agents. Calling Puck on GPT-Live-1 lets you talk to Puck in real time, even from a watch. The team is also testing an Ultrafast mode with GPT-6 Astra to shorten the wait between agent tasks. CEO Quinn Slack says some users consume up to 10 billion tokens a week.
