A three-person hiring startup runs its go-to-market on Claude and Next-Gen Zaps
Zapier describes how Vetano, a hiring platform that replaces resumes with ID-verified skill videos, built its marketing and sales operations with a team of three. Founder Chris Fairley connected Claude to Zapier through Next-Gen Zaps; now he tells Claude what he wants, Claude builds a new Zap, switches off and keeps the old one, and sends a test email for his approval before anything goes live. The welcome workflow skips test accounts, validates addresses with ZeroBounce and never welcomes anyone twice. Before the Small Business Expo in New York, Claude scored each weekly list of registered businesses in Google Sheets, and a second agent called Viktor ran the campaign across 37 Instantly mailboxes. Of 19,569 emails sent, only 73 bounced. Replies land in Slack, Claude drafts an answer and Fairley sends it, and leads marked as interested go straight into HubSpot. On show day the welcome Zaps ran 71 times with zero errors.
